Highlight #5: Berklee American Roots Music "Roadshow" - 10/2018

Having just returned to Berklee in the fall, I was excited to be featured in three different performances at the "Roots Roadshow" in October. This show was in The Red Room at Cafe 939. I played guitar and sang lead and harmony vocals in Dave Hollender's Berklee Bluegrass Ensemble; I played guitar in Bruce Molsky's Old Time Ensemble; and I played guitar, mandolin, and sang lead and harmony vocals in Josie Toney and my first performance together (we had not yet decided on the name Red Rabbit Duo). This was a great performance opportunity and a great way to get a feel for the American Roots Music program, having arrived only one month prior. Displayed are photos of me performing in each of the three groups (photos by Louise Bichan), and here is a link to the Cafe 939 video stream.
